Privacy Policy

Please do not use email or text for confidential information. Due to the nature of online communication, confidentiality cannot be guaranteed, and can become part of your legal record. Storage and collection of client information is in accordance with the Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA) and in accordance with the British Columbia Association of Clinical Counsellors (BCACC) guidelines.

 

All notes, records and communication are kept secure and confidential, and are stored in double locked facilities. Information may be shared with colleagues and supervisors for case management, quality assurance, or supervision purposes. As you are also entitled to access your clinical records, you may do so by contacting me. If you have any questions regarding this, please talk to me directly.
